May All Your Wishes Come True
This card is inspired by Anita's lovely card (below) for this weeks Muse challenge #260. I love her colours and the large floral stencil....so not having a stencil I decided to sponge through my new die - I think next time I might cut a stencil to see if I might get a better sponged affect. I stamped my sentiment and layered it on matching card. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day
ps As this is a Stamplorations die and am adding it to their Never-ending Anything Goes challenge

It looks wonderful, I love the colour you used. You may get more area covered if you cut a stencil next time but I think with the depth of colour it looks just perfect as it is.
ReplyDeleteThank you Aileen, I've used Distress Oxide ink and maybe different ink next time too
DeleteThis is beautiful Robyn! I think by using the die itself you got a more 'diffused' look, I think it would be crisper with a cut stencil, but both looks would be beautiful! I have to remember this technique. Thanks for joining us at Muse this week!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful way to showcase the versatility and beauty of this die! Soooo pretty! I've used this die to create a stencil on a few occasions. The bonus: you get the look of the stencil on your card panel AND a colourful die cut to add to another panel. Two for one...

Oh...and because you've used STAMPlorations products so beautifully, you should share your creativity over at the STAMPlorations Anything Goes Challenge (be sure to add the challenge badge to your post): https://stamplorations.blogspot.ca/p/stamplorations-anything-goes-challenge.html

Great improvisation using the die as a stencil. Love that rich berry tone too.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing along at Muse this week, Anita x
