CAS Stencil March challenge

If you're not sure about this technique there are a couple of videos on the CAS Stencil blog to help you out... it's not too difficult so hope you find time to join in the fun.

I made a background using Distress Inks- Carved  Pumpkin, Barn Door, Brushed Corduroy - sponged onto white card, then laid on my stencil, spritzed with water and removed the stencil quickly, let it dry.  The background area shape lead me to use a die cut oval in my cream card front, then I traced around the inside of the die onto red card and cut around the pencil line to give a layered oval.  To finish I added a fussy cut stamped cat on a DO scrape and then my stamped and clear embossed sentiment...die cut with a stitched rectangle die.
There's some wonderful inspiration on the CAS Stencil blog, from the design team girls, please pop on over and check them out - I'm sure you'll be wanting to give it go...
Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy card making.
