It's time for a reminder to play along with the
Stenciling over Coloured Background
For my card I have chosen to used creamy yellow coloured card and stencil over this with Distress Oxide inks. I sponged Ripe Persimmon near the center, blending with Carved Pumpkin and the outer petal areas with Tattered Rose. When the ink was really dry I used Nuvo crystal drops (clear) to outline the some of the petal edges and the center. To finish I sponged the very edge of the panel with orange ink and used an orange card, stamped on my sentiment and attached the flower panel with foam sheet.
I am also playing along with the
Stamplorations Mixed Media May challenge using Peony no2 stencil
and
Stamplorations Never Ending Anything Goes challenge.
I hope you are inspired to join in the CAS Stencil challenge, it's lots of fun and there's heap of wonderful ideas from the DT over on the blog. Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, happy stenciling.
So pretty Robyn, gorgeous colours and I love the touch of sine on the petals, Cathy x
