Today I have reminder that there are a few days still to join in at
which closes on the 24th on the month.
For my Birthday card I stamped the image in black on my front panel and made masks as well... then coloured the image with watercolour pencils and using the masks placed the cobble stone stencil over the top and using my dry baby wipes and Salty Ocean Distress Ink created a background to the flower. To finish I stamped on the sentiment added a few scattered Crystal Drops and attached the panel to a white card. This is my reminder card for the CAS Stencil challenge and I am also playing along with AAA Birthday challenge #5 - Use a Stencil. Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it and hope to see your creations over at CAS Stencil September challenge ....
Beautiful card Robyn. Love the contrasting colours with your flower the background. The cobblestones are so pretty and soft by adding them with your baby wipe. So clever and creative. xx
ReplyDeleteThe cobble stone stenciling looks lovely behind your colorful bloom Robyn! Love how you faded the edges out and the added crystal drops! xx
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a lot of control using your dry baby wipe to apply your fading out stenciled background. Robyn. So clever of you, my friend. TFS your technique and describing your steps. Beautifully colored flower too. Hugs..Nancy
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I love your colour choice, and using a baby wipe with the stencil has given a lovely softness to the background xx
ReplyDeleteI love how you used your baby wipes for the cobblestone background and how you colored this beautiful bloom! Such a pretty card, Robyn!
ReplyDeleteI'm rather taken by this baby wipe technique, gives such a subtle and pretty effect. Perfect background for you flower. Thanks for playing at AAA Birthday, hope to see you join in with future challenges too.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card Robyn, different way to use the baby wipes too, adding ink instead of removing it. Love how soft the backgrouns stencilling is, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteI love your color combo and how the background fades out! Thanks for joining our AAA Birthday challenge!
