Thanks

I have a card today for the Double 'D' challenge - Orange and White ---- and how tricky is that to just stick with one colour ... and orange isn't one of my 'go to' colours, so I'm pretty happy how my card turned out.  I rifled through my DP stash and found this orange and white teardrop piece - found some matching orange in the scraps and die cut the 'hogweed', and again in white card......
I didn't know what hogweed was, so looked it up YUK not good - pretty dangerous stuff!!!!
Assembled the card with a white panel to display the 'weed', added some orange coloured crystal drops to the centers (before I knew it was a weed) and added a bow and a stamped sentiment to finish.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy card making.

  2. I love using orange in the Fall, but I guess it's your Spring, Robyn! The two toned flowers are so pretty and the bow is gorgeous!

  3. I hear ya on the orange color ... not my go to either but certainly made for a fun challenge! So this is hogweed huh (I'll have to google that) ... I thought it was queen anne's lace or something like that! Interesting! Thanks for the floral lesson and for an awesome card! Great job!! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Orange & White ONLY’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

  4. Love the gorgeous backdrop for those 'weeds' Robyn. Thanks for enlightening me about hogweed. Had never heard of it. Great layout and love the scrunched bow. Fabulous card in all the orange.
