Thanks for Everything

I tried something different with this Thank You card.... using watercolour pencils.  I first stamped my floral stamp onto a damp baby wipe so the surface was just damp and would pick up the colour from the pencil... it worked really well, scribbling over the surface.  I sprayed a very very light mist of water and stamped  the image onto white card, then I gave liberal spray to the stamped image and it moved the watercolour pencil line around, and I blotted it carefully with paper towel.  I die cut a stitched frame in white card and mounted this with foam sheet over the stamped panel and attached to a matching maroon card.  To finish I stamped the sentiment, and fussy cut it and attached with foam tape too.
I am playing along with CAS Watercolour November challenge - Monochromatic ....   AND .... Just Us Girls challenge #512 - Word Week - Thanks.
Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy  stamping

  5. What an interesting technique, Robyn - I never would have thought of a way to use my watercolour pencils directly onto the stamp. I must try it. Love the way it turned out, and the matching card base. Thanks so much for making a card for CAS Watercolour!
