Merry Christmas

Doesn't everything look fresh and green...we've had a good drenching of  rain - it washes away the dust and puts that glorious fresh smell in the air and of course it's much cooler.

So this morning I'm sharing a Christmas card for the Rudolph Days January challenge ....  and I challenged myself to use one of my very old neglected stamps - some of those on wooden blocks where the rubber is starting to harden and you're lucky to get an image...just missed the right side of the red bauble.  Stamped the image with Versamark and heat set with white EP, then decided to give my pencils a rest and used Twinkling H2Os to watercolour the image.  Next die cut the image panel and found some blue to match as a background and then white embossed the sentiment and lastly assembled the panels on a white card.
Thanks for stopping by my blog  --- have a Happy Day

  1. This card is so very pretty, Robin. I love those baubles done that way.

I was so glad to hear your post about the rain as everyone is so worried about the fires and evberyone we "know" who lives down under.

    Enjoy your rain!

Thanks for taking part in the January Rudolph Days Challenge.

  2. The baubles are painted in such pretty colours! I usually paint with twinkling H2Os but i rarely heat emboss images in white; i love the look and will have to try it. Thank you so much for playing along with the Rudolph Days challenge.

  3. Beautiful card using an old stamp Robyn. There's a reason why we hold on to these special images. It's gorgeous with the watercolouring and deep blue background.

Your garden is gorgeous! WOW! Glad you got some rain. xx
