Wishing you Joy

Today I have two cards for the CAS Christmas February challenge - JOY!!     I did like Bonnie's acronym.... Quick and Clean and Simple  (QACAS), and that prompted me to look at my stamps stash to see if there were any just sentiments I could use on a card... and I found this gorgeous stamp.  How quick, easy and CAS is that - stamp, gold emboss and whella you have card... a one layer white card.  Of course then I remember another card where I'd sponged the edges with darker ink.... so I created this blue card.... stamped and gold embossed the sentiment and then sponged the edges of the panel with Distress Ink - Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot - it really makes the centre of the card glow.  A thin gold metallic layer and attached to a blue card... I've started trying out other colours :-)
Thanks for stopping by my blog  ---   have a Happy Day.

  4. This is the perfect QCAS, Robyn! Love the gorgeous font of your large sentiment. White and gold are so elegant together. The blue and gold is a stunner, especially with the darked edges. Great work! xx
