This week the theme for The Daring Cardmakers is LUCKY FOR SOME.
There are lot superstitions out there that are meant to bring us good luck - four leaf clovers, horseshoes, dream catchers, the number 7.... I'm sure you know some more. As Guest Designer I'm featuring a dragonfly on my card
"In some cultures, dragonflies represent good luck or prosperity. So make a wish when you see a dragonfly and it'll come true. ... Plenty of dragonflies meant there were plenty of fish around. If a dragonfly hovered near the fisherman, he took it as a good luck sign" quote from internet
I lightly blended blue ink around the top section of a panel dry embossed with grasses and then stamped and silver embossed the dragonfly then fussy cut it out.... added a touch of blue to the wings and lots of sparkly glitter glue. Then I die cut some grass stalks and the sentiment from scrap watercoloured card and arranged these on the panel and onto a green card and finished off with a few sequins.
We would love to see your wonderful creations over on the Daring Cardmakers blog - so join in the fun
Thanks for stopping by my blog --- have a Happy Day
