Having fun this month trying out different techniques with stencils.... I used photographic paper and Distress Oxide inks. Firstly I smooched ink in different Autumn shades over the paper, and wiped it clean with baby wipes. Then with the stencil in place sponged deeper shades over the flowers and leaves... and wiped over the surface again, bringing up the lovely bright colours. I took to it then with a fine black marker, roughly outlining the flowers and leaves and adding some mini circles to the flower centres then white gel pen. I used a black card base and die cut the sentiment twice - one white which I coloured up with fired brick DO and clear embossed it, and a black die cut to use as a shadow.... I used a strip of vellum to help the sentiment stand out .
