Using some Patterned Paper today which is a rare thing for me ... and I have soooo much, must put this on my To Do List - more often.
This card is for the Peace On Earth Christmas challenge #2 - with an inspirational mood board... I chose the stocking and JOY wording
- Stamped and silver embossed the stocking from Power Poppy: Poinsettia set, the watercoloured with Distress Inks - Candied apple, Mown lawn, Barn door, Fossilised amber, Mermaid lagoon and fussy cut it out
- Stamped and silver embossed the JOY sentiment from Vicki Boutin: Warm Wishes set and watercoloured with Tumbled glass Distress Ink, trimmed the panel to fit across a card and added 3 tiny blue metallic stars - Sizzix: Festive Things set
- Selected some patterned paper for the background and attached to a white card and the added the other elements with foam sheet. Used a mini blue pearl gem to anchor the stocking

Hey Robyn- you certainly have an eye for design and color. You can see it in your garden and your beautiful crochet projects. And of course your talents are evident in this joyful Christmas card. Your coloring is top rate and I love the fact that you so often accent your cards with embossing powders. You really have an eye for design. I really love the silver embossing on this card!

Robyn, the paper looks absolutely lovely as a backdrop for the sweet stocking and JOY sentiment! Perfect in combination with the silver embossing. Love this Power Poppy stamp set. So many favorites she has retired, sigh. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Peace on Earth!
