My May Card Chain Challenge card went to Hilary in UK.
I used the colour palette... Aubergine, Rose and Coffee shades, and the sketch.
For some interest on the card I dry embossed the front panel, added sponged shading to the scalloped frame and some matching pretty paper to display the stamped floral bouquet - watercoloured and fussy cut.
Thanks for stopping by my blog... have a wonderful day, Cheers Robyn
Gorgeous watercolored bouquet, Robyn - love your take on the sketch and colors!!
ReplyDeleteRobyn, hold onto your flowerpot—this bouquet is an absolute showstopper! 💐✨
ReplyDeleteIt's like the blooms popped out for a glam night on the town and said, “Let’s outshine every card in the blogosphere!” And sure enough, they did! The colours are so fresh I nearly sniffed my screen (don't judge), and the whole design has more elegance than a royal garden party—minus the soggy cucumber sandwiches 😂 You’ve got serious petal power, girl. I’m off to raid my craft stash now in a desperate attempt to catch up with your level of fab!
Sláinte and sunshine from this side of the world,
Wendy R. 🌸
This card is even better in real life and I have to say your fussy cutting is very impressive. I am really not sure how you managed to cut all those little internal bit so neatly and cleanly. I am so impressed. A beautiful card xx
ReplyDeleteMy watercoloring is not that great, but your card is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colouring Robyn - I can't watercolour for toffee! Thanks for being a link in our chain again, Jo x
ReplyDeleteLove the beautifully water coloured flowers and the rich colour of the embossed background.
