Hi !!!!
Now don't collapse with shock, yes I'm here -- all good, no health issues -- it just seems the arty farty part of my brain went walkabout... maybe it was overcome with fresh air in the mornings I was out enjoying the weather and fiddling in my garden, and then too exhausted in the arvos and slouched off into the arm chair... you know as you get older you should slow down and do little bits at a time - that's what I tell my 95 y/o mum who still loves to potter in her garden.
It's been 9 weeks since I joined Darnell with her inspiring IDEAS weekly prompt - this week it is 'E' for Embossing ... and this card just so happens to have an embossed background (from my stash) and some tulips I stamped and coloured with some long forgotten Distress Marker (that actually still work) - finished with a red card frame and die cut sentiment.
A creative woman never sits with her hands idle, Robyn, and I love all the knit works you accomplished while your card designer went on a bit of a vacay! Your son's hat is a hoot! I love that your pretty tulip card fits this week's I.D.E.A.S. Calendar and I appreciate that you added it to the gallery to motivate others! (I'm so glad you are well!) Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLovely to hear from you again. I am glad you are OK. I love that embossed background so I am glad you have now used it. Thanks for sharing your crochet projects, that hat is pretty special. I hope he wears it often xx
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you here Robyn - and yes, I can understand about feeling tired by the afternoon after a busy morning. Getting older can be frustrating when the energy levels drop too early in the day!
ReplyDeleteThe card is a stunner - love your shading on the tulips!
Your crochet projects are wonderful.
Blessings
