Bit distracted with other projects lately but very happy to have sat down at my desk yesterday with inspiration from friends to try something different and make a card - hoping it keeps going as it's hubby's birthday this week and I've a CCC card to get in the post too.
Then I used a new layered floral die to cut out the flower on white card and using Distress Inks to watercolour it....much nicer than just cut from coloured card as you can get depth.... and it's "I" for Inks with Darnells weekly IDEAS prompt.
AMAZING card Robyn!! Gorgeous background with your corner die leaving a beautiful impression. I LOVE this technique! Your flower is beautiful ... love the colours you've used. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Group of Cardmakers! Loll xx
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lolly, Robyn, so I will just say ditto! You chose the right die for this technique and your single flower, beautifully painted, lets it shine through! Thank you for using this week's I.D.E.A.S. Calendar and linking in the gallery to motivate others! Hugs, Darnell
