Snowy Christmas cards

Things are happening on my desk today...  and SNOWY cards too... so I guess all my overseas relatives and friends will be getting these as it seems weird to give Aussies a wintery Christmas card....seeing as it's really hot and sunny at this time of year.

I've been inspired by Jo and guest designer Loll over at Christmas Kickstart challenge #103 with a theme of Snow Alert

Lots of cards with a blue theme made today and more in the process... because yes I'm like others - way behind with my card making.... and those patterned papers do come in handy to make lovely backgrounds.

Used the same piece on my first two cards and a die cut house piece where I added gold card behind the windows and a bigger snow slope to stamp on my sentiments.  I tried adding snow to the roofs on the second card... but I don't think it worked too well - never mind.

Using another patterned paper background for this card and added a snowflake border to the top cut from white glitter card and used the cutout stars too - pretty quick and simply, finished with a stamped sentiment.

This snowy scene was in with my forgotten stash of Christmas tags -- so it was quick and easy to add it to a white card with a few die cut snowflakes.

Lastly two card featuring Snowmen.. also tags from my stash - just matched them up with some more patterned paper backgrounds and whoopie I've added 6 cards to my stash.

And while I'm on the blue theme - I'm sharing my latest crochet creation...  a blanket using a pattern by Hooked on Sunshine, called Phoenix.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you're inspired to make some quick cards, have a wonderful day
Cheers Robyn
