Thinking of You

Well it's Spring here in Australia but with the amount of leaves being blown from our mango trees you could think it was Autumn - the colours are just yellow not as pretty and vibrant as at Autumn.
My card today has a watercolour background using Autumn shades of Distress Oxides which I overlaid with a die cut stitiched rectangle frame.  Then I fussy cut my stamped and embossed leaves - two browns and a vibrant two tone orange/yellow one - just added a hint of colour to them.  To finish I stamped on my sentiment and used foam tape to mount the leaves.
I am playing along with CAS Watercolour birthday challenge - Fall Leaves.  Also to Simon Says Wednesday challenge - Thinking of You and to Simon Says Happy World Cardmaking Day. Thanks for taking a peek

Simon Says: Thinking Of You

Merry Christmas

This makes three Christmas cards in a row and I'm so pleased that I've been making them all year because the stash is looking good.  This stamped tree is from my stash and I've used Distress Oxides to paint it  with a bit of glitter gel pen for the garland. I sponged the edges and used some DP for the back layer to suit the sketch at Merry Monday challenge #260.  To finish I stamped and embossed my sentiment and fussy cut and mounted with foam tape.  I am also playing along at ABC Christmas challenge for October - letter 'U' and 'V' -  I'm using 'U' - Unlimited for this card and Happy World Cardmaking Day at Simon Says Stamp.  Thanks for taking a peek

U for Unlimited, V for Vibrant
