Happy Birthday

Inspired-by-Stamping-July-BMorning crafty visitors - my card this morning started with the orange/yellow/green edge I made up with scraps from a die cut border I made a few weeks ago, then I found this flower in my pre-stamped drawer - I'm not real good at using a die around a stamped image but this one worked ok then I created the background paper with my distress inks. It's all come together pretty well but I could've embossed the green base card - too much flat green space. I made this card especially for the July Blog Hop at Inspired by Stamping
Thanks for taking a peek

  1. Another pretty floral card...I love floral cards.Love the border you made with your spellbinders.

  2. Good grief Robyn, don't be so hard on yourself - it's a lovely card. if you don't like the background so much, how about a teeny flower stamped randomly in Versamark? Ilike the die cut round the image, that works really well.
Sorry about the linky at my place - I didn't forget, worse..I must have done something wrong because to fix it I had to start again!

  3. You are on a roll, Robyn, another beautiful card for the IBS July Blog Hop. I love how you've made the background and the flower is very pretty. Deb x

  4. This is positively gorgeous! Thanks for joining us at IBS.

  5. Soooo pretty!! Love the way you used the die around the stamped image!

Thank you for taking the time to comment, all encouragement and inspiration is very welcome. May your day be a happy and extra special one, cheers Robyn
