Happy Birthday

Inspired-by-Stamping-July-BMorning crafty visitors - my card this morning started with the orange/yellow/green edge I made up with scraps from a die cut border I made a few weeks ago, then I found this flower in my pre-stamped drawer - I'm not real good at using a die around a stamped image but this one worked ok then I created the background paper with my distress inks. It's all come together pretty well but I could've embossed the green base card - too much flat green space. I made this card especially for the July Blog Hop at Inspired by Stamping
Thanks for taking a peek

  2. Good grief Robyn, don't be so hard on yourself - it's a lovely card. if you don't like the background so much, how about a teeny flower stamped randomly in Versamark? Ilike the die cut round the image, that works really well.
Sorry about the linky at my place - I didn't forget, worse..I must have done something wrong because to fix it I had to start again!
