Whats On Your Workdesk, Wednesday?

..in my opinion! WOYWW #271....wanting to know more just pop over to Julia's blog to read all about it. I do so enjoy visiting the lives of people I don't know and missed being part of it all last week - being away visiting gorgeous Sophie and celebrating our sons 27th birthday.  Here's my desk this morning displaying two lovely cards from my stamping buddies in Townsville.  On the left you can see I did a spot of shopping with a ream of new white card stock and some spray bottles. You'll also see a card I made and flowers Vikki and I made.  The major thing happening on the desk is me searching the net for rental properties as we're visiting Gladstone tomorrow and need to sign up for a new place real soon, less than a month left in this place....so guess I'll need to start packing soon.
Here's Vikki my stamping skyping friend in her wonderful craft room. I didn't expect to catch up but found a few hours on Saturday so we made flowers.
Well it's about time to think of dinner as hubby has just arrived home, I'll be around later to check out a few desks. Cheers and have a wonderful week Robyn
Sophie with Uncle Ryan
PS, saw on FB today there are 20 Fridays till Christmas!!!

  1. 20 Fridays, makes it sound like it is coming fast! Goodness! What fun to skype and stamp with your friend. My GF and I stamp and talk on the phone, with phone on speaker. But since it is a local call, we can do that. Happy Woyww! #34

  2. Townsville - it really is Neville Shute-esque! A month to find a place pack and move - am seriously impressed at your stress free attitude!
How lovely to have found time to spend with Vikki, it's quite a production line she's got going there!

  3. Hi Robyn,
Yes, I was in Officeworks looking for that card but, like you said, 210gsm isn't quite good enough. I suppose I will have to go online :) The metallic card that I bought is 285gsm. Quite nice.
Good luck with the packing and house hunting!

Yes, we often do have to stop and make dinner, sometimes it's quite inconvenient. ;-)

  18. It's a great idea to craft via skype. Your friend must have a lot of patience to make those little flowers. Hope you find a place to rent quickly, argh the thought of moving makes my toes curl. I'd need 6 semi trailers to move all of my junk! Enjoy your trip up to Gladstone.

  19. Hi Robyn, love your attitude to finding a new place.... so pragmatic. It never occurred to me that you could craft via skype. But then I am always behind the times.

  20. Oh Robyn, I don't want reminding how close Christmas is, it comes too fast and time goes to quickly.
Nice to have a friend to make flowers with, will you still be close enough to visit when you move?
Hugs and Thanks for visiting me whilst I was in deepest Wales with no signal hence the lateness of commenting now.
