What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday?
Hi and welcome to a view of my workspace today....I am still visiting with our son so the dining table is where I'm at. I've just finished the card on the right and photographed it to post and then remember it was Wednesday....so snapped a quick pic to post for WOYWW #292. Wondering why I'd want to display my mess well pop over to our hostess Julia, read all about it and join in the fun.
Today I made this card using old sheet music (my post here for more)...you can see the workings - water pot, brushes, distress inks, guillotine and work pad and the laptop with my new look blog page.
Thanks for taking a peek, I'm off to make dinner now - Chicken and Mushroom Risotto tonight, then I'll be back to visit some desks....thanks to all those who visited last week, Cheers Robyn

It's another day of juggling for me today....I have Lexi one side of me building with the Knex and Sam is the other side doing jigsaws so I'm popping round some of my favourite blogs while they play happily 😃
ReplyDeleteI love the card you've made and it always makes me smile when I see the lovely pic of the water lily on your blog

A pretty Card Robyn .
ReplyDeleteI've lots of crafting to do myself but can't seem to get back into it since Christmas.

Chicken and mushroom risotto sounds delicious. We've been mostly eating slow cooker meals since Christmas, throw it in and it cooks itself whilst we craft.

That's a beautiful card - I love the torn look of the sheet music, and the floral stamp is beautiful. Hope you have a great week,

Hi Robyn,
ReplyDeleteYour dinner sounds wonderful! I wonder if there's any leftovers?!? Oh but the logistics of it all would be a nightmare. Your card is beautiful and the workspace is pretty nice and neat. My dining room table is where I do everything except my knitting, which I usually do every night.
I'm having a giveaway so stop by.
Happy WOYWW,
Peace, Kay (61)
I keep a pile of sheet music ... I think it makes a great background ! Your dinner sounds good !

Oh Robyn, that is a gorgeous card and reminds me of spring, which I realize is not why you created it (grin). It is lovely, nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated New Year and happy WOYWW from # 2. And thanks, too for the earlier visit.
Crafting stuff = essential traveling supplies!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the visit with your son.

It is not easy coming back to normal during these days. But your card is very nice! I like sheetmusic also for backgrounds. Fortunately my husband makes music, so I get the sheets he doesn't need anymore.

Oh that's a very pretty card. And your blog is looking new and pretty too - considering you're away on holiday, you've been busy! And mmmmmm, risotto!
ReplyDeleteHi Robyn,
ReplyDeleteTomorrow I'll explain how to make that beetroot potato salad (Sorry but I'm going to bed now)
Your card looks really pretty Robyn and yes I do love the warm weather and it was indeed 40 and delightful. I lived up north for quite a few years and know about that humidity, maybe I should visit again soon. I also think you should have another christmas dinner we are going too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting.
Happy WOYWW

Nice revamp on your blog Robyn, and a very pretty card with the sheet music! Thanks for your visit to my blog earlier! I really appreciate it! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #27
ReplyDeleteLove your card! I tried making something similar last month, but didn't believe the image would stand out if coloured on the music...and ended up fussy cutting. Now I see, that stamping straight in the sheet would probably have worked fine! Happy WOYWW!
ReplyDeleteahhh, Robyn, so you revamped your blog, mm haven't dont that for yonks!!
ReplyDeleteDo love it and the new card with music paper below - well done you!!
Thanks so much for sharing ~ happy belated WOYWW!
