Today my card image is stamped on old sheet music I picked up at the Op Shop yesterday. For a while I have been wanting to recycle a book page or music sheet but found it quite difficult to ruin the original...but I did it today. I stamped the Chocolate Baroque honeysuckle image in black and coloured it in with distress inks...I love how they age and worked really well with this old paper. I torn the edges a little and backed it with a matching card then attached a sentiment tag, I aged with DI and double stamped the words. I'm posting to the Paper Players #226 challenge - a project using recycling. Thanks for taking a peek Robyn
What a terrific card ... Love the stamping on the music paper and the gorgeous colouring!

ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely card. I know how you feel about using the original - it took me a long time to use the book I'd saved just for scrapping with!
