Had a lovely day Saturday with my stamping friend Vikki and made this card. I created the background with an embossing folder on bright green - why I chose that colour I don't know, definitely not me so I took to it with sandpaper and then coloured over it with Fired Brick Distress ink then sanded it again and attacked it with Spiced Marmalade D Ink, and finally gave it a spritz with Mister Huet's 'Shine' mist. Just a couple of sentiment blocks and this really cute little bird from Stamplorations. I'm posting to Simon Says Wednesday challenge.- Make your own Background, and Stamplorations April challenge - Stamps and Numbers.
Thanks for taking a peek, Robyn

Ummmmmm that background is Fab-U-Lous! I am totally going to use that technique for some rusted old car image or something. And I love the small birds! They are my favorite new set, so I'm glad to see you using them here. Thanks for linking up at STAMPlorations stamps and numbers challenge!
