What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday??

..in my opinion!Week 311 at WOYWW, where you can join in and enjoy a 'snoop' around the desks of friendly crafters who are happy to share what is going on at their place.
Here's my desk today...back at the dining table at our sons place where I am visiting again for the next 4 weeks....this time I packed to plastic crates of stamping gear as I don't plan to spend all my time in the garden and do have at least 3 birthday cards to make and two other projects I'm thinking about.
I've been making the first birthday card using the Bokeh technique and in dark colours for a male.  You can see I can squash on to the small round table - my laptop, my work pad, a tray of pigment inks, a tower box containing distress inks that will have to grow to two containers to hold the new pads stashed on top - they're my favourite inks at the moment. a box with all my necessary basics, then I start to spill over onto the floor and chairs. In the middle is a card from US that arrived from Judy for the card swap and my empty coffee mug.  Well the day is creeping on and I'm off out for the birthday dinner at Sizzlers with the family so I'd best get this posted and squeeze in a few desks...thanks to everyone who visited last week and again if you're an Aussie and would like to trade ATCs for the WOYWW 6 swap please let me know (just keeps the cost down and it's fun to share).  Cheers

  1. Hope you have a great stay - 4 weeks would be too long without any supplies, so it's good to see you took some along! Happy WOYWW Helen, #7

  4. What a lot you have managed to cram onto the table. I have yet to try the Bokeh technique but intended to as soon as I saw it.
One of y favourite memories of a trip to America was a visit to a fab Sizzlers. Sadly we haven't been to that one again but it made my mouth water when I read your blogpost.
Enjoy your time at your families home but keep on crafting.

  9. I actually like those Versamark stamp pads, because the ink is so bold and bright. But the problem I have is with their small size, since I'm not much of a stamper.

Wow, four weeks is a long time, Robyn. I suspect you brought lots to keep you going through it all, though. Happy WOYWW from #1.

  10. Crafters will find a space to work however small! Considering what people took the to the WOYWW crop for just one day you have been fairly restrained! Have a great visit and a happy WOYWW Cindy #25

Your ATC will go postal soon ... ish. (It's in the envelope, just need to get moving.)
I love those Versacolour cubes too. They are my "go to" stamp pad when I don't want to think too hard about it :)

  23. I am thinking I really liked that bokeh the one time I tried it, I just want to make a better ghetto stencil before I do it again, that thing you have your distress pads in looks interesting too because, they look like you know you can take them out easily they are not getting pushed too far in to pull out. but, I love that you used your bitty pads for this and I think I will try that some time :) thanks for the earlier visit Robyn :) ~Stacy

  24. The bokeh technique is something I really must try sometime, Robyn! Your card in your previous post is gorgeous. Thank you for your lovely comment, and I'm glad you like the 2 cards I made for my hubby - it's been lovely getting back into being creative again, and I hope the chemo doesnt' put the kybosh on that... It starts tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it one bit. Still, I've managed to get through the first stages of this process (surgery, managing the stoma) so I am sure the next bit will be within my orbit too! I've got my wonderful hubby beside me to hold my hand!

    Happy WOYWW,
