Hi and welcome to my desk this fine Saturday.... today I've made a card for the
Power Poppy June challenge - to use coloured pencils, so I have dug up my old Faber-Castell Metallic Colour Pencils....I've used two shades of purple, but had to resort to a touch of Twinkling H2Os for my yellow - the photo doesn't capture the sheen of the metallic pencil but it goes beautifully with the H2Os. I fussy cut my floral image and attached it to my lovely Distress Ink yellow background...I made a whole 12x12 sheet of this which turned out super - I just love how bright it is, then layered it with two panels onto my card. I finished off with stamping a simple sentiment directly onto the card. I am also posting to The
Summer of Colour 5, week 3 where the colour theme is Purple + Purple + Yellow.
I did have fun and it was hard not to want to add more the my card, but I do think it's just right as it is. Thanks for taking a peek
