Today I have added another card to my Christmas stash...a snowman with a 'funky' hat....for the
Merry Monday challenge #164. I am also posting to
The Mixed Media Card challenge for June - theme Collage with an option on a Frame. I have used a Distress Ink and Perfect Pearls background to which I added a 'frame' of snow flakes, scored this area and also gave it another light mist of blue. Then I created the snowy ground with silver scrunched tissue paper. My snowman's body and head, have a layer of texture paste roughly smoothed on with my finger, then a light coat of glue sprinkled with glitter....a ribbon scarf, die cut twig arms, scraps of card face and buttons on his body. Finally topped of with his glorious flunky hat...cut with dies, added ribbon band, stamped and embossed holly and a few squiggles of white gel pen. Thanks for taking a peek
