What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday?

Hi there on this fine sunny day in Queensland Australia...how are you enjoying the weather in your part of the world?  Of course I'm here today with a photo of the events happening on my desk for the WOYWW 332 - wondering what I'm on about then visit our hostess Julia's blog to read all about it and join in the fun.  I've missed a few weeks lately and missed being at my desk and blogging too with so much happening at our place since our move back into our home. We're cheering today as our house extension/renovations plans are with the engineers for approval, so there is some slow progress - we have the plans with a few builders who are working on quotes...so it's still a waiting game.  I have found a few hours yesterday and today to make a couple of cards - you can see todays card on my desk and the makings scattered around.  At the back I've a finished card and my next task will be to use the die cut remnants to make another...had to remember to collect all those little bits from the die before they got swept into the bin.  I've a few hours of peace and quiet just now so I'm off to visit some crafty workdesks....have a fabulous week Cheers

  15. I love that you have that great big pad to work on and catch drips or ink. I think I am always looking for something to toss on the table real quick when I know I want to off set stamp something. :)

  21. Glad you are back in, but it sounds as if there's a fair bit to do in the house. It always gets a lot worse, and more messy, before it gets better! I hope you will be pleased with the final results. Your cards are coming along nicely. That hexagon die looks a useful one. Your scratch paper is a good idea too - I used to do this a lot and rather got out of the habit of it. Eventually you can end up with a nice big piece to use as a background, full of random colour! Thanks for your visit and your nice comment. I can't wait for tomorrow to be over and to be able to say I have FINISHED by chemo lol!! Each day that I feel better following that, I know is another step on the road to recovery. I am very pleased to have been able to spend at least a little time in the studio - even an hour a day can make a huge difference to my productivity and how I feel about things in general!! It's a great morale booster.

    Happy belated WOYWW,
