Merry and Bright

This week at Muse:Christmas Vision 65 we are casing a cool card from Kimberley.  I like how the circular blue shape highlighted her cute image - so I chose to case this.  I used a round acrylic stamp block with Distress Ink to achieve my blue background and then sprinkled just a few specks of Brushos on the watery background, sprinkled a few drops of water and then it was dry scattered some white gel pen snow flakes.  I stamped my cardinal onto red card, fussy cut and added some colour dimension with Brushos.  Then for snown I added some white gel pen to him and also to some green die cut foliage.  To finish I stamped on my sentiment and glued on my leaves and 3D mounted the cardinal.
