Friday Smiles

Share a smile... FRIDAY SMILES -WEEK 194  at Annies A Stitch In Time

Today I've just come home from two nights away with our daughter and family having a mini break in a cabin by the beach...forgot to take those photos.
But here are a few others - Thursday hubby had the day off so drove out to join us just in time for breakfast
A lot of our time was spent in the pool as it's safer for the little ones than the beach, but we did go walking in the sand and collected shells, wrote our names and watched the crabs digging holes
Mia was happy to sort the rocks at the base of these palms
And Sophie just wanted to stay in the pool...glad they're happy to wear their hats most of the time
And surrounding the pool were lots of gorgeous hibiscus, can't resist taking their photos.

And my favourite - this frilly pink one
Just having a break away from the house is refreshing - and watching the girls play and experience the beach gives me plenty to smile about....hope you've had a happy week, and if you'd like to join in and share, pop over to Annies blog.  Thanks for taking a peek here and enjoy your weekend

  1. I'm doing my visits with a mask on today....I don't want to pass this cold on to anyone.
That sounds like my sort if break away. I love watching the children playing and walking on a beach is something I have to do on a regular basis :-)
    Hugs,

  2. Hi Robyn, it feels strange to see you in the sun as the winter is well and truly on it's way here now. Your flowers always make me smile and seeing everyone having a good time. I will pop back later as I have noticed some nice cards on the go too. Have a great weekend and happy crafting, Angela x

  4. Happy Smile Friday....such fun photos. A little too crisp and cool here now for water activities. And sadly most all the beautiful flowers are disappearing with the cool nights. Enjoy a great weekend.

  5. It's good to see everyone enjoying themselves like that. That pool looks like it is in a cave. Great! Lovely to see the little ones.
Your hibiscus photos are beautiful! I love each and everyone.
    Have a good weekend,

  8. Ah. Someone else who has enjoyed some family time. It is very special isn't it? The water looks very inviting and the girls are obviously enjoying it. This hibiscus are glorious. I have never seen one like the last photo. It looks more like a bunch of autumn leaves until you see the stamen. Have a good week. Kate x
