A Little Greeting to say Hello

I love to combine watercoloured backgrounds with stamps to create little scenes, they make great silhouette images for cards... at that is what I've done here. The watercoloured sunset on textured waterpaper worked really well with these trees and I used a fine nibbed black pen to extend the landscape to the left. To show off the image I've used a black card and bright orange and black to frame it.  To finish I added the stamped sentiment.  I am posting to Watercooler Wednesday WWC#121 - Anything Goes and also to Simon Says Wednesday - Anything Goes.

Thanks for taking a peek

  1. Robyn, I love silhouettes! Your black silhouette against the wonderfully watercoloured sunset is gorgeous. Your choice of textured watercolour paper really works with this image. I really like the way the sky almost appears to be moving because of the swirls of varying colour. Beautifully done. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
