Well I hope you are having a lovely start to the week... it's beautiful here, weather perfect, chores are done and I've free time at my desk. Earlier this year I remember this owl stamp in the back of one of my stamp drawers and when I saw the challenge at
The Paper Player #349 Feathered Friends I knew he'd have a staring role. I have also used
'masculine colours' for the Stamplorations CAS Card challenge for June and then followed with the theme at
Stamplorations June Theme and Sketch challenge.... Stamps and Family. I used coloured pencils for a change to colour the image and then added some feint shading to the background - the mauve and blue influenced my choice of layering and card. To finish I added a stamped sentiment for Fathers' Day. Thanks for taking a peek

Robyn your owl is absolutely stunning! So lifelike, it's almost photographic in quality. Your colouring is expertly done. Love the addition of the purple mats - I'm sure this will make the Dad that receives this very happy. Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
