Happy BIrthday
I'm back today with a card using the second half of my navy and gold tissue paper background... for the CAS Mix Up July challenge - I have stamped and coloured my butterfly with Distress Crayons - a loan from a friend to try them out. My tissue paper was scrunched and adhered to thick card and the raised areas embossed in gold EP. My choice was to die cut my sentiment twice - navy and glitter gold card - gives it a tiny bit of depth. Thanks for taking a peek

I'm loving the gold embossing on that navy tissue, Robyn! It makes such a striking background! Love the butterfly colored with the crayons! Did you color directly with the crayons or scribble and pick up color with a wet brush? Just wondering. Thanks so much for sharing with us again at CAS Mix Up!
ReplyDeleteHi Robyn, Another fab card.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a nice day. Sue
Your tissue is elegant with the navy and gold, Robyn. Great that you were able to create two backgrounds from this piece! Your butterfly is so pretty. Great job with the crayons. I have two sets, but haven't managed to find a way to get them to work for me. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
