Wishing you a Wonderful Birthday

This afternoon I have tried something a bit different... tried using watercolour to edge my panel ... mmm sort of worked, but rather than toss it because I really like how the yellow camellias turned out, I just mounted to a red layer on my white card.  I stamped the image in Antique Linen DI and used Brushos to watercolour it.... this water colour card is really hard to control so there's a few areas got a bit messy even after I let it dry between colours. Then I took to it with my Rose Red and water and just built up the edge - I added some pale colour to the flowers and finished with a stamped sentiment.  I am playing with Power Poppy Hues to Use - Red, Yellow and Green and also over at Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes with a 'topping option' of Red and White and your choice ... so really I have two extra colours yellow and green.  Thanks for taking a peek
