Everything Beautiful has it's Moment
This card has been a work in progress for a while, just waiting for me to think of some finishing touches. I had the two lavender pieces stamped and die cut - some Distress Inking for the back panel and a light flourish stamp over stamped and embossed the sentiment... then I wondered on the shape and did a bit of wrangling with two dies (oval and a tag) to cut this for a center piece. The yellow hand made flower just lying on my desk too seemed to fit - so I cut another oval in white -yuk, so I coloured it with Distress Ink to match and to finish die cut and inked some foliage and layered the panel on lavender card onto my white base. I am playing along with Just Add Ink #370 sketch. Thanks for taking a peek

Such a gorgeous sentiment, Robyn and I love your framing details and the beautiful background you've created to highlight it too. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.
ReplyDeleteStunning card Robyn. The background is beautiful and the muted flourish on the white oval and of course the yellow-orange of the flower enhances it.

ReplyDeleteI love the subtle inky layers and patterns and how the foliage and flowers fade in and out Robyn. The little pop of yellow provides lovely contrast too. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.
