Today I needed to make a card for a male friends birthday - a special 50th one. I had no stamp images to suit this person so decided to just go with a large 50 which I traced and handcut from the gold wrapping on Christmas bon-bons we had used and of course I had saved (scrooge me). Then I die cut my sentiment from the same card and punched out some blue glittery dots. I looks good on the black ground and I used a light brown card. I am posting to Watercooler Wednesday WWC150 challenge - Masculine Anything Goes. Thanks for taking a peek

Oh my, Robyn, that is a stunning card! What a clever way to showcase the numbers and use up some pretty (scrap) paper as well. Having all that wonderful gold against the brown really shows it off. Love the blue glittery dots as well. When a big birthday falls this close to New Year's it's a great excuse to haul out the glitter. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteWow, great job of tracing and cutting out the numbers for this milestone birthday card. The boldness of the large numbers adds to the masculine feel of this card. Awesome! Thanks so much Robyn for joining us at the Watercooler Wednesday challenge this week.

ReplyDeleteI love that you have used re-cycled packaging for the numbers! And they are really perfectly cut. Definitely a card with impact. Thanks for joining us at Watercooler Wednesday.
