Welcome to the neighborhood...

mmmm well this is way different to my usual style but I'm happy with the card.  I quite like these quirky type of stamps but don't own any - this row of houses is a friends stamp I've had in my stash for some time. I added a wash of soft colours and roughly cut them out and then teamed them with a leafy DP and some stamped trees for the back drop and dark green for 'lush' lawns (explanation - we've just had 4 days of welcome rain and everything is fresh and green - amazing how the dead looking lawns spring to life so quickly).  Lastly I just happened to find this NBUS sentiment stamp which fitted perfectly.
I am playing along at Shopping Our Stash #342 - Home Sweet Home and also Just Add Ink - add 'H' - my 'H' is for houses.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend

  1. Such a fabulous card to welcome a new neighbour Robyn! I love how you’ve grounded these sweet houses with the grass and carried the trees and leaf theme through to the background. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.

  3. I love those quirky houses as well! Hurry and stamp a bunch before you are asked for that stamp back! That sentiment is very nice-looking, too. Thank you for sharing again this week at Shopping Our Stash... hope to see ya tomorrow for our next challenge!
