Go after your Dreams

I cut my metal element from a drink can and ran it through my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder.  Then I swiped black permanent ink over the raised areas and heat dried it. Then I swiped Versamark over the surface and sprinkle on  gold, silver and copper EP - my copper is very old and didn't work too well, but I like the result.  To finish I just added a stamped sentiment to a die cut circle and attached them with foam tape to a white card.  I am playing along with the CAS Mix Up October challenge - my elements are metal, stamping, dry embossing, heat embossing and die cuts.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

  1. A fabulous example of CAS card with mixing the medias. Using the can was so creative and fun. The dry embossing looks great and the heat embossing of the powders looks wonderful. Thank you for joining in the fun challenge at The CAS Mix Up x.

  7. This metal from a drink can is an inspired choice Robyn, and the embossing is so pretty with the black inking makes it really pop, together with the beautiful gold, silver and copper embossing, and finished with a lovely sentiment too. x
