Wishing you Peace now and always

Whoopppie - we've been enjoying some long needed rain overnight- with even some serious lightning and thunder, and with intermittent showers this morning... our farmers along the central east have been in drought for 6 years, lets hope they're getting a good dowsing too.
Anyway my card this morning is for the CAS Christmas October challenge - Birds.  This is an old wood mounted stamp that I innked with Versamark and just added Turquoise Sparkle EP (it's so old the turquoise is missing)  - I love the shadow feel it created as a background.  Then I restamped and embossed in Silver EP and fussy cut the dove - added a tiny bit of colour and used foam tape to attach. I thought I could add a silver metallic border - wrong colour but this matt dull gold paper looked great (it's only shiny from the side - bottom pic).  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

  1. Fantastic design Robyn! Beautiful image that looks amazing done in the sparkly heat embossing. It adds a subtle tone-on-tone for the card. Very elegant with the beautiful fussy-cut dove and sprig and the thick gold border. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas! xx

  2. beautiful simplicity in your layout, even though the turquoise is missing the colour is perfect. thanks for joining us at CAS Christmas :)

  3. This is beautiful, Robyn! I love this sweet dove with the embossed edges and the embossed background sentiment is so perfect to go with him! Love that you have both silver and gold on your card! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Christmas!

Thank you for taking the time to comment, all encouragement and inspiration is very welcome. May your day be a happy and extra special one, cheers Robyn
