With Christmas Florals and Greenery as the these at CAS Watercolour November challenge I just had to make a card using my favourite poinsettia stamp. Stamped the image in grey Versamark and used Distress Inks to water colour it - using soft colouring for the background and foliage and a bit more intense for the flower... I'm really happy with how it turned out. To finish I attached the panel to a white card and used a stitched die cut frame to add depth. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.
I can see why it's your favorite Poinsettia stamp Robyn...what a lovely image and you've water colored it to perfection! The shading and light to darker is so striking...LOVE it!! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at CAS Watercolour!! :0)
