First I stamped my image in Antique Linen DI so I could watercolour a no outline image but I left both the stamp and image secure in the Misti. After the watercolouring was completely dry I re-inked the stamp in Brushed Corduroy and overstamped the image - it's a lovely fine line stamp so the fine outline reappeared. I added some depth with coloured pencils and a 'soft yellow' glow around one side of the flowers. To finish I used a deep yellow card and a grey blue layer, then popped my sentiment up with foam tape. ReplyDeleteGorgeous vase of poppies, Robyn. Great no line watercolouring. Leaving the stamp and card in the Misti is great to add an outline afterwards. The brushed corduroy is just perfect with the subtle colour. xx
