I used the Misti to stamp my poppy image and left the card and stamp in place so I could overstamp at the end. I used Antique Linen DI first and Distress Inks to watercolour the image, then used Distress ink in Frayed Burlap to overstamp...wish I'd taken a photo of before and after to share, it really adds dimension....next time. Next I chose the stitched frame I had floating in my stash and decided to fussy cut the bottom of the image so it could escape the frame. It was all a bit 'white' so I lightly smudged on some blue and added a shadow with the blue pencil too. To finish I assembled the card and stamped on my sentiment...this card is for my friend who has been undergoing radiation and chemo for a brain tumor, yesterday we heard a positive result from her MRI - unbelievable and so very relieved.

What beautiful poppies, Robyn! The watercolor and over-stamping came together perfectly! I love how they spill out of the frame and the light wash around the poppies finishes the design beautifully! Thanks for sharing this with us at CAS Watercolour!
