Cherished Friend

A glorious day here in Townsville, hope you're enjoying some wonderful weather too..... and it's been a lovely relaxing time at my desk.  Double 'D' challenge this fortnight is Kentucky Derby Hats with a gorgeous photo for inspiration..... the lovely pink and aqua took my eye and so I teamed it up with this stamped lady and her black hat. I used Distress Inks to watercolour the image and added some crystal drops for her pearls and white gel pen for the flower centers.  I sponged the edges and used aqua card to add a frame.  To finish I stamped the sentiment on a stitched die cut label.  I am also playing along with Simon Says Wednesday challenge - For a Special Lady  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy stamping.
