Happy Birthday
Have you got one of those stamps that seemed like a good idea when you bought it and then it proved more of a challenge to use... so this Frangipani one falls into that spot and has only been used once I stamped the image in Versamark on maroon card and clear embossed it... then sponged white pigment ink over it.... and when I thought it was dry buffed the white from some areas.....so I have pinkish flowers with dark red centers. I kept it simple and die cut my sentiment three times and stuck them together to lift it off the panel a bit. Framed my panel in white and used foam sheet to lift it on the white card. I am happy with the result... but think I'll try this stamp again with white card and yellow ink. I am playing along with Power Poppy Creative Confetti - Simply Resistible and The Flower Challenge #32 - Embossing (Heat or Dry). Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, have a wonderful weekend.

It was so creative to use a dark paper and blend white ink on it for the emboss resist effect!
ReplyDeleteIt turned out beautiful! Thank you so much for joining us at The Flower Challenge!
This turned out amazing, Robyn!! What a great way to use this stamp. Sounds like it would be tricky removing only some of the white ink ... but so worth the effort when you get results like this! xx
