Happy Birthday Bonnie
Ok, first off I know this card isn't CAS --- I just got carried away making a lovely card for our CAS friend Bonnie's birthday .... just concentrate your look on the white without the red DP and ribbon.
I stamped the image in Weathered Wood Distress Ink and used DIs to watercolour the image. Then I trimmed the panel to a square and used a stitched square die to impress the edge. Then the rot set in and my instinct said add a red border and next thing I know I've got DP and ribbon involved. Lastly I stamped my sentiment, fussy cut it and attached with foam tape.
I am joining in this months CAS Watercolour challenge - Bouquet of Flowers, to send love and best wishes to Bonnie.
Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy stamping
Robyn this is such a beautiful bouquet of tulips for Bonnie, I love the jug vase, it brings back some lots of fun memories.
ReplyDeleteIt might not be perfectly CAS, Robyn, but it sure is beautiful - love the wonderful image and your fabulous watercolouring, especially your ability to do perfect shading and grounding! Bonnie will love it. Thanks for joining us at CAS Watercolour!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE ALL THIS RED, Robyn! Your card is even prettier IRL! Beautifully colored, my friend! Thanks so much for celebrating my birthday with me.
ReplyDeleteAmazing watercolouring of these gorgeous flowers and vase, Robyn!! LOVE IT! The red border and ribbon are beautiful accents to highlight the flowers. Gorgeous birthday card for Bonnie! xx

ReplyDeleteHaha, you're a karack up, Robyn! Sometimes I swear our cards have minds of their own and our fingers operate under their command. In this case your beautiful CAS design is magnificently enhanced by the framing and red ribbon and I'm sure Bonnie loves it!! Hugs, Darnell
