Well truly I just love all the flowers, but this month my favourite is the ORCHID... as I have one in bloom right beside my desk ....I picked some up in May, leftover from Mothers' Day with their flowers mostly spent and have three in my bathroom where they must be loving it because I've a five new sprouts from the two spikes in one post - yippee... I have six outside in the garden and always get a show from one - we call the Waterfall Orchid...I stamped my image in grey ink and used pencils to watercolour it. I cut a window in a square white card and backed it with pink card, then trimmed down my front panel to fit leaving just a small frame of pink. To finish I added a die cut 'happy' in gold metallic card and a stamped and gold embossed 'birthday.
I am playing along with The Flower Challenge - #35 Use Your Favourite Flower ... Also adding to The Power Poppy Creative Confetti - 1 Challenge, 3 Ways... I'm inspired by my garden orchids and as I make a lot of cards I give them to my mum, who sells them for charity at her church.
