It's the Little Things

A bright fun card from me this afternoon, full of fluttering butterflies....
the background panel I made using 3 bright shades of DO inks and inking up some scrunched up plastic wrap and spritzing with water and laying the crinkled wrap onto white card and letting it dry.  Next I stamped solid mini butterflies in matching colours and then stamped an outline mini butterfly in grey.  I stamped extra solid butterflies and fussy cut them.  I used a die cut oval front panel to frame the butterfly panel and to finish added a stamped sentiment and die cut butterfly in white.
I am playing along with CAS Watercolour August challenge - Colourful Butterflies and also STAMPlorations Summer 2019 CAS challenge.
Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, happy stamping

  2. Absolutely GORGEOUS card Robyn! I am loving your colorful background and had forgotten all about the scrunched up saran wrap technique and will need to play with that one again soon! ALL your butterflies are just lovely and I really like your design layout too! Lovely, lovely card!! :0)

  4. What wonderful bright colours and a great idea to stamp the solid little butterflies on their matching colours! And then the addition of the fussy cut little ones is perfect. All in all, a great card!!

  5. This is so creative and fun Robyn!! LOVE the bright mix of summer colours to create your oval background. Great idea to then stamp some solid butterflies and gray outline butterflies, along with fussy-cut silhouettes. Adds lots of details and dimension. Love the gorgeous white butterfly at the top! xx
