Happy Birthday

Well it's a happy Friday here at my desk, and thankfully we did get a small amount of rain last night, accompanied by sheet lightning and thunder and lots of wind today ... I know they've had rain in the southern states and only hope it has been some benefit to the areas with fires.

My photo today is of some beehive ginger that I have growing in the back garden

The card I'm sharing today is again from my friends collection - we had a session last Saturday and Vikki shared her Christmas present stamps... I'm loving this one as it has an Aussie theme.
I stamped the image in grey ink and used pencils to colour the image.... I added some clear Dimensional Magic to the gumnuts.  Then in my stash I had this die cut border, so I trimmed the panel to fit inside it and then attached these to a coral coloured square card.  To finish I added a stamped sentiment, on a die cut banner and mounted with foam tape..

I am playing along with two challenges - Power Poppy Creative Confetti - Small & Sassy  ...   AND  ...  Watercooler Wednesday WWC254 - Tristan's Challenge - All About Occasions.
Thanks for stopping by my blog --   have a Happy Day

  4. Your pencil coloring is awesome, Robyn! It's so smooth and your shading is wonderful! Glad you've had some rain and hope it wasn't too much and causing flooding! Hopefully the drought is over.
