Excitement, excitement... look what arrived today.... some new Blending Brushes...oh they feel soooo nice, like velvet, different sizes, the small ones are hidden at the back -- but of course I just had to use them straight away
I made another card for the CAS Stencil January challenge - Use a new stencil, seeing as it's their 1st Birthday - a big congrats DT.
Onto white card I 'blended' some DI in three colours along one side and then trimmed the panel to fit a white card. Then from my stash I found these hibiscus in similar colours so fussy cut them out (they had been coloured with watercolour paints, so I added a bit of depth with coloured pencils). In my stash also was this dark rose coloured clear embossed sentiment, so cut that down to fit with the flowers across the bottom.... a welllahhh we have a card.
Thanks for stopping by my blog --- have a Happy Day
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Appleblossom Designs - hibiscus, Paper Roses - Into the Woods (sentiment)
Dies:
Inks: Distress Oxides - mustard seed, worn lipstick, dried marigold, Versafine - black
Other: New Stencil - Marianne Designs - cobble stones, NEW blending brushes, cheap watercolour paints, coloured pencils, clear embossing powder
