Merry Christmas Tag

Everyone can do with a little extra LOVIN'

Created the background of my tag with a stencil inked with Versamark and used a brayer to help transfer the ink to white card, then heat embossed with white EP.... next sponged over with Old Paper DI, buffed the ink from the white when dry and trimmed to a tag shape.  Stamped the holly with grey ink and used Distress Inks to watercolour and then rough fussy cut.  Stamped the sentiment in red and clear embossed and rough fussy cut this too.  Arranged the holly and sentiment on the tag with foam tape and added some ribbon to the top, then attached to a white card..

I am playing along with CAS Christmas January challenge - Tag.
Thanks of stopping by my blog --  have a Happy Day

  1. Sweet tag Robyn! I never think to use Old Paper. The colour is gorgeous as your background with the white embossing. xx

  2. What a great way to create the background. I never think of using stencils for anything but stencilling!

  3. Love the heat embossed background for the holly and sentiment. The "rough" fussy cutting is great - gives it a kind of retro look! A perfect CAS tag card!
