You Brighten Everyone's Day

Hi and how is everyone managing with the restrictions, I do hope you are all ok and enjoying lots of time crafting.   All good at our home and I'm finding plenty to keep myself occupied - even deciding it's a good time to have hubby help with some spring cleaning and gardening...

Now it's time for our April challenge at
 CAS Watercolour
with Susan our host wanting to see lots of happiness with SPRING FLOWERS

I was inspired by  William Wordworth's poem -  I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vale and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

I stamped my daffodils with grey ink and used Distress Oxides ti watercolour them ... then I continued using the colours to create a field in the background and used coloured pencils to add fine line details.  Then I stamped on the sentiment, and to finish I trimmed the panel and rounded the corners and used foam sheet to attach to a white card.

Do hope you are inspired to join in our  Spring Flowers challenge - pop over to the CAS Watercolour blog and check out the design teams fabulous card, also Vicky's who is our guest this month.

  9. My goodness Robyn, how clever are you?! The stamped daffodils are absolutely beautiful but the way you continued the colour into the background, adding detail to suggest a whole field of them is brilliant. Absolutely gorgeous! Vicky x
