Big cheers to all the team over at
So I'm so happy that my mojo is back and today I've been playing with Distress Oxide inks on photographic paper. I used the colours and watercolour effect from the "Topping" and simply die cut the Happy Birthday
from the colourful background to show through as a white sentiment.
Then I decided why not make another card with the sentiment die cut out... and arranged it on a white card, with a trio of balloons
Thanks for stopping by my blog ---- have a Happy Day and stay safe
Stamps:
Dies: Curly Sue - Happy Birthday, Kaisercraft - Party (balloon)
Inks: Distress Oxide - mermaid lagoon, festive berries, wilted violet, twisted citron
Other: photographic paper, black pen
I love that you got a Twofer out of that great background! Can totally see how you were inspired by the colors in our graphic! Then you carried it over by adding the balloons on your second card! Well done! Thanks for playing along with or 200th celebration at Seize the Birthday!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Robyn, isn't playing with inks and photographic paper fun! Thankyou for playing along at Seize the Birthday too, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful watercolor, Robyn!
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous rainbow-coloured cards Robyn. The photo paper has worked amazing with distress inks! And what a great idea to die-cut the sentiment and use it for a second card. xx
